Amazon India has accidentally revealed a major detail about the upcoming OnePlus 13R smartphone ahead of its official release.
The e-commerce giant’s landing page for the OnePlus 13 series event, scheduled for January 7, 2025, confirms that the OnePlus 13R will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. As expected, the OnePlus 13 will come with the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite.
The OnePlus 13R will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, just like its predecessor, the OnePlus 12R, which had the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. OnePlus described the 13R as a "pocket powerhouse" but hadn’t revealed the chipset details.

While many details about the OnePlus 13R remain under wraps, more information is expected to be unveiled on December 26, 2024, when OnePlus launches the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro in China. It’s anticipated that the OnePlus Ace 5 will serve as the blueprint for the OnePlus 13R.
Additionally, OnePlus confirmed that the 13R will be available in two colours: Nebula Noir and Astral Trail, both with a finish resembling "star trails." The OnePlus 13R will have Corning Gorilla Glass 7i on both sides, a metal frame, and a slim 8mm design. It will feature a triple-camera setup and a large 6,000mAh battery. The operating system will be lightweight.
